I think this probably something going to be argued as long as people love this game! The writers really can’t seem to stick to one thing! You’re led to believe that he might be Fiona’s son but then there are others (*Cough~Brenna~cough!*) who think Marric was a total horn dog and that must be more than one bastard. There are so many interesting theories floating around. I think it’s obvious that DG will never come out and admit who he is. Even if they turned around tomorrow and decide to pull an even bigger dick move like decide not to continue, it’s my sad opinion that we may never know the truth.
*okay, running away from this before I get yelled at!*

Gaider has said we’ve already met Fiona’s son. It was also confirmed it wasn’t Anders at some point but that was ages ago. I don’t have sources, but I’m almost positive that there was something confirming Alistair was her son. My headcanon at least.
