I swear everytime I hear this I go “Oh shit….”

I remember seeing the game at a friend’s house, watching her brother fight Sephiroth and hearing this music. Then I finally get the game a year later, and every time I think I’m going to get to fight Sephiroth (even temporarily—I was already well versed in Final Fantasy and I knew there were half a dozen teaser fights throughout the game thanks to Golbez and Kefka) what fucking happens? Fucking JENOVA. I swear I never hated any music as much as I hated JENOVA’s theme my first time through that game, just because I wanted to hear OWA. It was probably six years or more before I finally realized how amazing J-E-N-O-V-A was as its own piece.
