In spite of the otherwise OOC game choices I made tonight to get some caps for another photoset later, Vrania does not approve of blood magic—she thinks it’s a sign of weakness, and that it in-debts a mage to demons. Better to cull such weakness whenever she has the chance.

So… when I started sketching it was supposed to become a Fenris / Hawke picture… as you can see, the initial plan didn’t work out… Now it’s a Jowan/Elyria/Cullen picture… Though… Jowan doesn’t look like Jowan… but well… could be any mage XD
This picture was sketched in two parts (as you might see…) Once I sketched Elyria and Jowan I didn’t know how much space Cullen would need in the foreground… so I sketched him on another sheet… “thanks” to bad iPhone photos the colours are different… XD
But today was such a crappy day, I was so annoyed all day and tomorrow won’t be much better… so I had to sketch something that calmed me down after I was done with learning.
And lately I am totally shipping Elyria x Cullen (though both of them don’t dare to approach each other XD)
And there is a very short “story” (it’s probably just a drabble) going with the picture):
He knew that it was wrong to watch her – only her. She was not meant to be his, nor was he meant to be hers. Worlds separated them.
It was cruel to see her with that other mage. He was allowed to touch her, to talk to her. She was laughing about his jokes, blushing when he called her pretty and holding his hand whenever they were alone. Never would she do any of this for him.
Cullen turned away, seeing them together hurt too much.
He knew that his foolish infatuation with her would haunt him one day… but nobody could deny him some dreams. He had given up so much… what risk was there to conserve a dream…Beautiful <3
So I’m working on my “Cameron Cousland, vile bastard” play-through, doing Redcliffe Castle after letting the village fall to the undead. Reached the point where it came down to the decision about what to do about Connor. I was still undecided about what way Cameron would go, other than that someone was going to die. Wasn’t sure if I’d let Isolde sacrifice herself to save Connor, or if Cameron would just outright kill him; was leaning slightly toward the ritual since I figure Connor would likely remind Cameron of Oran, and he may be a vile bastard but he’s not totally heartless. On the other hand I’ve done the ritual at least twice recently.

Jowan/Lily by far, but then in my mind “Amell” translates to “Vrania” and my pissy little shapeshifter hated Jowan. I haven’t quite worked out what she was up to at the time, but she would have nothing to do with him and his little escape plan—not because it was wrong to leave, but because he was going about it in the stupidest way she could imagine. She may have also known about his blood magic (I haven’t decided this bit yet) and she has a very low opinion of blood mages. To her, blood magic is a debt that she’s not willing to get tied into, and anyone who would is a fool.
Elissa always sends him back to the Circle. I’m not sure if Vrania’s going to leave him in his cell in the dungeon, or if she’s going to kill him for being stupid. Because she most definitely thinks he’s an idiot, but even an idiot doesn’t deserve to be Tranquil.
If he goes back to the circle, it’s almost certain he will become Tranquil. He has already been denied a Harrowing and look what he did at Redcliffe due to a promise made to him by Loghain. I always try to let him go, but they never let me. This time, I’m going to do a mod so I can keep him safe. That’s all I want: to keep Jowan safe from others and from himself.
If she didn’t think he was incompetent, Vrania might consider the same. She does think he’s incompetent, though, so she’s probably going to kill him to “save” him.
