Brave is a very emotional movie for Clint.
There is a Dalish elf on a bear. Your argument is invalid.
The things I find amusing in the early hours of the morning…
I love the ranger specialisation in DA:O, although I more often used a wolf because the bear seemed like it was so big it would have trouble with doors, those upgraded bears were huge… an elf could totally ride one. Screw riding Halla into battle, where’s my bear mount?!
“Where is your Maker now Shemlen?!”
I think rogue is my favorite class for DAO specifically because of the Ranger specialization. Specifically because of the bears. Dude. I loved my bear.
I don’t know yet which animal I’m going to have my Dalish summon when I make her a ranger, but I always always ALWAYS have Nate call a bear when I’m playing Awakening. I mean, it’s on his family’s crest and everything. It would be wrong to have him call anything else.

O~kay… this is for magicdrusilla over at deviantART… she wanted her two Dalish OCs Evinro and Sehari … they were fun to draw and the scene she provided with pretty hot ;) but since she wanted the kissing I tried to depict the unkinky part of the scene XD
I really hope that’s what she had in mind ^^”
Dalish characters are fun to work with :3
Lovely!
So this happened the first time they entered Denerim, and in general in my playthroughs. It is as if the evil cat horde from
hellthe Void has just waited for Lenya to appear. Words can’t express how much this amuses me, much to the chagrin of my Dalish Cookie with the cat-phobia xD
If you give Wynne the prank gift, cat lady’s hobble stick or summat, and have her with you it increases the chances of getting the cat army in Denerim’s market. Have they lined up in formation for you? :p
First outfit. How they walk in those heels everywhere, I do not know.
Yay, first post.
Each culture(Dwarven, Elven, and Human) has their own tattoos. If a human was wearing a Dalish tattoo, then yes it would be mocking them. Same with Dwarven tattoos. But the tattoos that one gets in-game without modding? Those are human tattoos. Thus, humans have a right to wear them.
Also, here’s a list of Dalish tattoos as well as theoretical meanings behind them.
So, non-Dalish races with those tattoos can only be achieved through modding and yes, would be wrong. Though, meta-wise, I wonder how non-Dalish races would come to know of their tattoos, given that most consider the Dalish to be a myth.
The tattoo in the pic is the only one I’ve ever given a human character, actually, because it was the one of the only ones that didn’t look Dalish or dwarven to me. And I don’t remember 100%, but I’m pretty sure there are both Dalish and Casteless dwarf tattoos available for Hawke in the vanilla character generator (I’ve got so many mods installed now, though, that I’d have to load up my PS3 copy to be certain.)
To be honest, I forget what tattoos are in DA2, but I know for a fact that in Origins Dalish/casteless tattoos are not available for other origins.
Yep—in Origins, you have to go a teensy bit out of the way if you want to mod an elf with freckles instead of tattoos, like my f!Tabris. I mean… she’s a city elf. She has no reason for Vallaslin. Give us some other options, hm?

“Modern” elves in Thedas have lost their immortality, but what about the elders who already entered uthenera? Are they still capable of rewaking, and if so would they still be immortal?
